Jon has spent most of his 30-year career in the transport, logistics and retail sectors having worked for organisations such as Toll, Catch Group, Spotless and Sussan Corporation in leadership and Supply Chain Management roles.

Deputy Chair
Ron is currently the Senior Project Manager, New Fleet Delivery and Enhancement for Sydney Trains which is responsible for ensuring that Sydney Trains is business ready for the testing, commissioning and the integration of new rolling stock entering the Sydney Trains network.
Director
Alex Claassens is the National Secretary of the Australian Rail, Tram, and Bus Industry Union, and has been in the rail industry for all of his working life. He began his career driving trains on the NSW rail network, became an elected union official, and was the RTBU NSW Branch Secretary prior to his election as National Secretary this year.

Anita has experience across a broad range of industries and roles including aviation (having served as a Board member of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and was responsible for the aviation portfolio within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister 2021-22) and has a background in government and regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and leadership and working in policy-based environments.

Catherine has extensive experience in transport and logistics with over 30 years of broad business experience in executive leadership, management, operations, maintenance, planning and transformation.

Emily McMillan is the National Assistant Secretary of the Transport Workers Union; she is the first woman and First Nations woman to hold that position at the TWU. A union official for 21 years, Emily has a deep understanding of supply chain industries and the importance of safety and skills for workers.

Laurie is President Industrial Relations for the Linfox Group of companies across the Asia Pacific region, Australia’s largest privately owned Transport and Logistics Business. In this role, Laurie directs and leads the strategic industrial relations framework across the Linfox Group to optimise alignment with the companies’ strategic priorities.
Director
Jamie is the Assistant National Secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia having started his working career as a Merchant Seafarer at the age of 16. Later becoming a Stevedore before spending the past 20 years as an elected official of the union.
