Industry Skills Australia (ISA) CEO Dr Vanda Fortunato and Rail Industry Engagement Manager Carly Grigg attended the Australasian Railway Association’s 2026 Rail Industry Awards, joining more than 700 industry leaders and professionals in celebrating outstanding achievements across Australia’s rail sector.
Held at the ICC Sydney, the annual awards recognise the individuals, teams and organisations that are driving innovation, leadership, and excellence throughout the rail industry.
Bringing together representatives from across the rail ecosystem, the event highlighted the significant contributions being made to advance the industry, improve customer outcomes and build a future-ready workforce.
The awards showcased achievements across 16 categories, recognising excellence in areas including diversity and inclusion, sustainability, passenger and freight operations, infrastructure, signalling and systems engineering, innovation, customer experience, safety and supply chain performance.
The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate the people and organisations setting new benchmarks for the industry while highlighting the collaboration, ingenuity and dedication that continue to strengthen the rail sector.
