Rail Industry Excellence Showcased at AusRAIL 2024
Our own Industry Engagement Manager - Rail, Carly Grigg, presented at one of the concurrent sessions at AusRail 2024. Carly’s presentation explored our 2024 Workforce Plans and addressed critical topics such as workforce diversity, sustainability, and rail safety. Her insights emphasised the importance of tackling workforce gaps, fostering inclusivity, and adopting innovative solutions to deliver a first-class rail network for Australian customers.
AusRAIL 2024 had over 3,500 attendees gathering at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre for the rail industry’s premier event. The conference and exhibition brought together professionals from across the sector to explore key issues and celebrate innovation, collaboration, and growth. Delegates engaged with over 150 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technology and solutions that are shaping the future of rail.
The extensive program also tackled themes such as gender equality, increasing mode share, and asset management. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions covering passenger and light rail, technology, and the rail industry’s growing focus on sustainability.
