Industry Leaders Discuss Future of the Transport and Logistics Workforce at Driving Tomorrow’s Workforce Event

The future of Australia’s transport and logistics workforce took centre stage at the Driving Tomorrow’s Workforce event, hosted by TAFE QLD and the Queensland Trucking Association. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

Among the panellists was Camilla Elmes, Our Industry Engagement Manager for Transport & Logistics, who shared insights on workforce issues and strategies for sustainable industry growth. 

The panel covered a range of crucial topics, including:

Leaders explored ways to address workforce shortages, enhance training opportunities, ensure the sector remains competitive and sustainable in the face of ongoing changes, the importance of proactive workforce planning, skills development, and industry partnerships to ensure the transport and logistics sector continues to thrive in the years ahead.
