Better Together - Job and Skills Report Roadshow 2024

The Roadshow showcased the Better Together – The Jobs and Skills Report 2024 and insightful panel discussions with representatives from JSA, state/territory governments, and local experts. The Melbourne panel explored the theme of the 'Clean Economy,' while Adelaide focused on 'Optimising Pathways and System Architecture.'

In Adelaide, the event was co-hosted with the South Australian Skills Commission, with Hon Blair Boyer MP, Minister for Education, Training and Skills, reflecting on the panel’s discussions about AI and technology's potential to drive productivity. In Melbourne, the focus was on the importance of a collaborative tripartite system, highlighting the role of JSCs in diagnosing challenges and partnering with industries to develop solutions. 

The Roadshow also included interactive booths showcasing JSA's initiatives, such as the Jobs and Skills Atlas, the Occupation Shortage List and the recently released Employment Projections, providing opportunities for attendees to engage directly with JSA staff.

These events underscored JSA’s commitment to fostering collaboration and addressing Australia's evolving skills and employment challenges.
